3. The Thors Defeat Malekith - War Of The Realms #6

There are few things more satisfying in this world than a good team-up. It's a trope that works in every genre, but is at its very best in comics where unexpected characters get to fight and win side by side. This is exemplified in the ending of War of the Realms, where Lady Thor and Thor finally get to team up in order to defeat the series' 'big bad', who is none other than the evil dark elf Malekith.

This moment gets even more satisfying, however, as it's not either of the Gods of Thunder who strike the final blow on the Dark Elf, as they instead instil enough fear in him that he loses control of the beasts he's tamed. They smell the fear in him, and then tear him apart.

As pretty much the perfect end to War of the Realms, it's hard not to adore this final fight, especially because it reassures you that Marvel can have a world where both Thors get to be the blond badasses they so sorely deserve to be.
