10 Notable Career Changes Of Famous Comic Book Characters

7. Hulk €“ Joe Fixit

Just picture it: the Incredible Hulk as a Las Vegas enforcer. Okay, it€™s not quite the Hulk we€™re all used to seeing. In the 1980s, after Bruce Banner joined back with the Hulk after the two entities were separated for a while, and a grey Hulk emerged as a new persona from Banner€™s subconscious. While Banner was the intelligent scientist and the green Hulk was the easily angered monster, Grey Hulk was a combination of both. Not quite as strong as Green Hulk, he was more intelligent, quite the smart-mouth and was able to do all the 'not-so-nice' things that Banner was afraid to do. Grey Hulk began his career as a Las Vegas tough guy named Joe Fixit and worked during the night when Banner€™s transformations occurred. Grey Hulk was eventually revealed as just one of the many personalities that were rolling around in Banner€™s head. Since I€™m not a big Hulk fan, I find these separate identities for Bruce Banner to be quite confusing. To me, there€™s Banner and the Green Hulk. The scientist and the monster. It€™s the modern-day Jekyll and Hyde, and it doesn€™t have to be more complicated than that. I have to admit, however, that a Hulk that worked in Las Vegas as an enforcer is awesome, in a suit and hat no less. He may be more expensive than the other strong men around the city, but if you hire him, it€™s a guarantee that no will ever screw with you or not give you your money.
