2. Blade (Marvel & Masters Of The Universe)

Two sword-wielding characters with very different agendas now, Blade and... well... Blade. Our first Blade is the day-walker from Marvel. A half-vampire with all of their strengths and none of their weaknesses. Having been portrayed by Wesley Snipes in the titular movie trilogy, Blade is as popular as ever. He was born to a Mother who was bitten and killed by Deacon Frost - a vampire - during childbirth. As a result, Blade inherited vampiric traits and grew up with a vendetta against vampires. He possesses superhuman strength, speed, stamina, agility, reflexes and durability, as well as a healing factor and the ability to sense supernatural creatures. He's an exceptionally skilled martial artist, swordsman and marksman. Masters of the Universe Blade was introduced in the 1987 movie and went on to make appearances in other media - including in the toyline. Little is known about him other than the fact that he's a villain and a swordsman of great skill, carrying two swords and an array of knives.
