3. Angel (Buffyverse & Marvel)

One is a vampire, the other is a mutant. Both are named Angel. Angel from the Buffyverse is an ancient vampire who first appeared in Buffy the Vampire Slayer as a good guy who was looking for atonement, after having been cursed with a soul (and therefore a conscience) following years of killing and torture as the evil Angelus. He became Buffy's love interest but, after putting her in danger and knowing he would constantly be a threat to her, he moved away. The character proved so popular that he got his own show - whereby he would set up shop in Los Angeles and carry out heroic deeds there. Marvel's Angel is a founding member of the X-Men (and has indeed appeared in the X-Men movies) who can fly thanks to a pair of feathery wings that developed as a result of his mutations and he has peak human physical statistics. Also known as Warren Kenneth Worthington III, he is the heir and CEO of the multi-billion dollar Worthington Industries. As a result, he is depicted as the stereotypical arrogant and self-absorbed playboy during his early years with the X-Men.
