A chair that provides complete knowledge of the universe is something that one would assume would positively help the world's greatest detective - imagine all the cases he could solve, all the mysteries he could unravel! In this case the opposite ends up being true though, Batman using the chair to enact a Minority Report-esque system of pre-emptive justice.

Again, that might have been a good thing had Batman actually bothered to gather the necessary evidence needed to put those he apprehended in jail. Instead, he just arrested individuals based on their thoughts - making him perhaps more arrogant and authoritarian than the post Civil War II Captain Marvel.

Who would've thought that possible?

Did I mention that he also marooned a group of criminals on the southern tip of Antarctica, 50 miles from any settlement, most likely to die? Because he did.
