5. Uncle Marvel (Captain Marvel)

First Appearance: Wow Comics #18 (October 1943) Urgh! It just gets more and more depressing how terrible these sidekicks are. Big thanks again to DC for this one. Uncle Marvel claimed to be related to the super-powered Marvel family, trying to worm his way into their lives. With the Wisdom of Solomon, the Marvels quickly saw through Dudley's disguise yet still decided to keep him on as a manager, despite the deception and clearly disturbing motives. Wisdom. Of. Solomon. Does that not count for anything anymore? Why the Marvels didn't use their wisdom to cart Dudley off to the nearest nuthouse I'll never know. Maybe it's because he was funny to keep around, always pretending to have super powers in deadly situations which could have led to someones death more than once. Ha. Good one Dudley.
