5 Characters Marvel Need To Reinvigorate
5. Hellion
Julian Keller is an abrasive young mutant with powerful telekinetic powers. The X-man and former Hellions leader has previously taken part in some of the most important X-men stories in recent years from Utopia to Second Coming, losing his hands in the latter. He hasn't done much since getting infected with M-Pox and being cured shortly after.
Julian's a capable leader despite his hotheadedness and isn't afraid to get his hands, or lack thereof, dirty. Hellion encapsulates the aggression of youth - couple that with the oppression mutants face within the Marvel Universe, and we could see him become a villain akin to classic Magneto. He's already been shown to have the capacity to rebel during Dark Reign, where he caused disarray for Norman Osborn's Dark X-men and the nearby human population.
What's most interesting about Hellion is the exploration of his powers. In battles in recent years, most notably against Karima, it's shown that he becomes more powerful as he gets angrier, like the Hulk. He's also discovered his telekinetic advancements afford him control over matter down to a molecular level.
Julian could either be a big asset or a big problem.
