5. Bug

Bug is one of the Guardians of the Galaxy we're yet to see in the MCU and we haven't seen him for a while in the comics either. What is odd about both of those things is that he's been present in most of the important Guardians of the Galaxy story arcs prior to their cinematic debut, including Annihilation and Annihilation: Conquest.

Bug hails from the Microverse and possesses incredible athletic ability. He can stick to walls, communicate with other species who have antennae and, while his eyesight is above average, it is further enhanced by his helmet. He's often seen fighting with a staff like some sort of Gambit/Spider-Man hybrid.

The most unfortunate part of Bug's absence from the Guardians post-Secret Wars is that James Gunn stated in an interview that he was in a previous iteration of the first Guardians of the Galaxy film's script. Had he been included, he might still be around.
