4. Cosmic Brainiac Is A Creation Of DCs Various Reboots
Remember the good old days when Brainiac was simply an alien that collected cities? Yeah well this aint yo pappys Brainiac. DCs most recent incarnation of Brainiac is much more powerful and larger than earlier versions of the character. This Cosmic Brainic has access to various moments in time throughout various different dimensions of the Multiverse. First revealed in Superman: Doomed #2, this version of Brainiac has remained a mystery until now. Convergence #8 reveals Cosmic Brainiacs secret origin. Once simply a mortal alien from the planet Colu, this Brainic travelled the universe seeking to collect knowledge, until he somehow witnessed and survived the events of Flashpoint. He then broke into the Multiverse and its history and began to evolve and grow. Eventually, he was caught in the events of Crisis on Infinite Earths, Infinite Crisis, 52, and Flashpoint. This caused him to mutate into Cosmic Brainiac who, upon being freed, wants to return to his original body.
