3. Brainiac Undoes The Events Of Crisis On Infinite Earths
Okay so heres where things get really strange (as if they werent strange enough already). Cosmic Brainiac offers to channel the temporal energy released by the death of Deimos, severe Teloss tie to the planet, and return all of the heroes to their respective time lines thereby resetting the Multiverse. Upon attempting to carry out this plan, Brainiac is prevented by the events of Crisis on Infinite Earths if he were to send everyone home the first Crisis would still collapse the Multiverse. Therefore, before Brainiac must return pre-Crisis Flash and Supergirl to their timeline first in order to preserve the events of Crisis on Infinite Earths (if you havent read it yet SPOILERS ON A 30 YEAR OLD BOOK they both die). In a strange turn of events, Pre-Flashpoint Superman and Parallax decide that they want to go with the Flash and Supergirl in order to prevent the original collapse of the Multiverse that occurred in the first Crisis.
