X-Men: Everything You Need To Know Before Marvel's Big Relaunch
10. The Young Versions Of The Original X-Men Are Gone
This is rather old news now - but important nonetheless.
Back when Brian Michael Bendis presided over the X-books, one of the most interesting things that happened involved the transportation of the younger versions of all the original X-Men to the modern day - which was done to show Cyclops (who had gone down a more villainous route similar to Magneto at this point) how much he had changed in the years since the early days of the team.
The time in which these younger versions of the heroes stuck around in the present day provided some interesting stories, but it was yet another element that made the X-Men titles more confusing, so their returning to their timeline during last year's Extermination was likely a smart move.
Oh, and don't worry about their stories being wiped from continuity, as their older counterparts have gained all of their memories now.
