Although Bollywood has already sunk its claws into the 1994 action film Speed for a sort-of remake entitled Tezz, where the action was changed from a bus to a train, its still very likely that Hollywood will follow suit at some point with a remake of its own. The original starred Keanu Reeves as a young cop who has to stop a bus thats rigged to explode if it goes below 50mph. Its a brilliant sweaty-palms, edge-of-your-seat thriller that spawned a terrible sequel set aboard a cruise ship that even Reeves was smart enough to stay clear of, leaving Sandra Bullock embarrassingly in the drivers seat (so to speak). The original was released almost 20 years ago and seems like one well get a remake of sooner rather than later.
