10. The Bike Crash - Deadpool 2
Deadpool 2 became the latest movie set to be closed down temporarily recently when a motorcycle stunt went wrong and stunt performer Joi "SJ" Harris lost control of her bike while turning a corner and crashed through a window. Tragically, it was Harris' first stunt gig, a career progression following her becoming the first African American woman to participate in an American Motorcycle Association.-sanctioned road-racing event.
She is believed to have been doubling for Zazie Beetz's Domino at the time of her death, and the accident occurred after several successful rehearsals. The bike hit a curb and unfortunately, she wasn't wearing a helmet at the time as Domino is said not to wear one in the movie universe.
Ryan Reynolds expressed his condolences in the wake of the tragedy saying that while he was "devastated," he knew that "nothing can come close to the grief and inexplicable pain her family and loved ones must feel in this moment."
