Mary-Louise Parker is of course best known for her Golden Globe-winning work on Showtime's hit series Weeds, but since the show ended in 2012, her movie career hasn't quite flourished how her fans may have expected.

Beyond supporting roles in high-profile schlock like RED 2 and R.I.P.D., Parker has struggled to win much in the way of strong lead actress work.

Following her memorably eccentric performance in last year's Red Sparrow, she doesn't have a single theatrical release movie in the works.

Back in 2013, the actress famously hinted that she may retire in the near-future due to the mean-spirited nature of both Hollywood and social media.

She said, "I'm not really that into it anymore...I don't know how many more movies I wanna do...I'm almost done acting, I think."

There hasn't been any official declaration lately, but it seems that Parker, worth an estimated $16 million, may be winding up her career imminently.
