I am sure many Twin Peaks lovers in the universe have already had and executed this idea on numerous occasions around the world, but I would be very surprised if you decided to dress up as this iconic character and someone else at the same party had already had the same idea. Even if this very unlikely scenario did take place, it would be just the right level of surreal that such a surreal TV program like this deserves... and at the very least you'd have someone to talk to that night. Who knows... imagine how awesome it would be if you met your future boyfriend/girlfriend at the party because you both went dressed as the log lady from Twin Peaks. If you are not familiar with this character, the log lady is a resident of the town of Twin Peaks who most people consider to be crazy due to the fact that she carries around a small log in her arms and has a psychic connection with it, acting as a medium for the information the log holds to the mysteries of the town. Turns out, especially after the events of the series finale, the log lady probably was never crazy all along, and the log could actually communicate with her. You probably wouldn't want to dress up as her if you haven't seen this show but if you have this costume would be very easy and very cheap to reproduce, and would work for either a man or a woman.If you really wanted to impress, you'd need to have the cardigan, the glasses, the handbag, the wig and the log (of course)... but if you are super lazy the log on its own would probably just about suffice.
