10 Alternative Film & TV Characters To Dress-Up As This Halloween
9. Oz as God (Buffy The Vampire Slayer)
The cheapest and easiest costume on this list that any true Buffy fan would recognize immediately. Most people at the Halloween party would probably think you were lazy and an idiot for this, but the 3 or so Buffy fans there would be sure to make their presence known to you and at least inform you that they know what you were referencing. Like Oz did in the Season 4 episode (Fear,Itself) when going to a Halloween party, he simply brought a name tag and wrote "God" on it. Simple. There are cool variations on this idea that you could try out though that aren't as boring as simply writing God on a name tag... because lets face it, most of us actually liked to get dressed up on Halloween. First off, how about going with your girlfriend, and like they do in Buffy have one dress up as Joan of Arc (who loved God) and one as "God". If this is too boring, how about even dressing up as Oz in this episode... so instead of simply having the name tag, mimic the clothing and dye your hair ginger? This would probably confuse the hell out of most people at the party (perhaps even some Buffy fans) so you could even buy werewolf hands to finish this costume off... For those that don't know, Oz in Buffy was a werewolf. Another great Buffy costume you could try is from an episode in an early season were a random couple go dressed as Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia and constantly make-out in front of everyone to freak out all the geeks at the party.
