It seems directors can't resist painting Zoe Saldana bright colours and sending her into battle. Saldana plays Gamora in Guardians Of The Galaxy, Marvel's shoot-em-up space epic, and she is utterly magnetic in the part. As the adopted daughter of Thanos, one of the MCU's Big Bads, she would have made a formidable villain. Instead, she brings that terrifying energy to the heroes' side. One of her aliases is "Deadliest woman in the galaxy" and her appearance in Guardians certainly bears this out. She's royalty, she's an alien and she's an assassin, which is quite the character hat-trick. Her stated goal is to kill Thanos, so expect Guardians Of The Galaxy 2 to be an even bigger display of Gamora awesomeness.
