Unlike the other characters on this list, Claire Temple may not be considered a traditional hero. She has no superpowers or special combat abilities and she doesn't engage in violence. She also doesn't work for any secret organisation and she's not training to be a spy. In fact, she has a pretty regular life as a nurse in New York. But she's still one of the more complex, well-drawn characters in the MCU. Temple is played by Rosario Dawson and has so far only appeared in the Netflix show Daredevil wher she saves Matt Murdock/Daredevil's life, which is a nice twist on the usual superhero-meets-love-interest story. She's thoughtful and skilled as a nurse and shows no squeamishness in the face of Murdock's injuries. She's set to appear in all the future Marvel/Netflix collaborations and they'll be the richer for it.
