Alright, you didn't expect them all to be good, did you? John McClane teams up with Superman in this inept star vehicle which does nobody involved any favours, but nevertheless bares some regrettable similarities to a Die Hard movie. The most notable element is that it stars Willis as CIA agent Martin and Cavill as Will, a father-son duo who would make a pretty formidable crime-fighting team in any movie, but here's one with other plans. Exemplifying what will probably happen when Bruce Willis gets too old for the Die Hard franchise, Martin is shot dead mid-way through the movie, leaving Cavill to pick up the slack, something he is positively unable to do because the script is so damn shoddy. Willis sleepwalks his way through the brief role, and like so many classic action stars, this is a way his career could go if he's not too careful.
