About half-way through the infamous DC dud, Deadshot (Will Smith) turns to Rick Flag (Joel Kinnaman) and asks him, "So that's it? What, we some kind of suicide squad?"

Title namedrops are almost always a bit of a gamble as to whether audiences can take them seriously or not, but this one was just too on-the-nose to work in the context of the actual film itself.

As a result the one-liner quickly became a laughing stock online, to the point that it's still an enduring meme over two years later.

Poor Will Smith: he really tried to make it work, but there was no way for this to turn out anything other than embarrassing and accidentally laughable.
