10 Essential Marvel Events Not Yet Used In The Movies

5. Siege

With a small population of Asgardians still floating around the MCU after Ragnarok and Thanos' attack wiping out most of the survivors, this particular event could still very well take place in the MCU's timeline.

Starting from when Asgardians establish a home on Earth (specifically in Broxton, Oklahoma), to when outside, hostile forces attempt to attack and take over, perhaps in fear of alien elements or seeking Asgardian power, the Siege storyline mixes the Shakespearean magic/sci-fi stylings of Thor's home world with a more familiar Earthly setting in a big way.

Not only will this allow the surviving Asgardians such as Valkyrie and Sif to shine outside of Thor's involvement, and bring about some of those epic battles the Asgardians are known for, it'll also allow for more personal stories, such as the humble and welcoming people of Broxton learning to live with larger-than-life Asgardians on their outskirts.

Fans of the comics might even get some fan-favourite romance, such as the beautiful and heartfelt story of the human Bill (of Bills) and the radiant Asgardian, Kelda Stormrider. The possibilities are endless, and appealing to anyone who loves the MCU's advanced society of magic space Vikings.
