Although this was initially released as a single, the song's position in the charts quickly plummeted and was then forgotten. So when Seal was approached by Joel Schumacher to use the song in a love scene between Nicole Kidman and Val Kilmer in his upcoming film, Batman Forever, Seal obliged. The song was eventually pushed to play instead during the end credits, but this was enough to skyrocket the song to popularity.
