Dinah Lance is one of the most established female heroes in the DC universe, serving on most of the publishers flagship teams at some point over the past six decades. The Black Canary is an expert in martial arts who fights crime with a canary cry or sonic scream that can destroy objects and knock people unconscious. Numerous incarnations have appeared on TV, most recently in Arrow, so Id be surprised to see a solo Black Canary film anytime soon, but shes a strong, sexy heroine who certainly has a lot of cinematic potential. DC has already begun talking about moving towards a Justice League movie and a Black Canary film would be a step in the right direction.
