4. London Has Fallen

Ah, a vast terror attack rendered with incredible yet slightly unbelievable CGI has struck in London! Fear not: America is here to bring more freedom and more peace with more guns, having survived its own insurgency in Olympus has Fallen. Despite what ought to be a stellar cast in the shape of Gerard Butler, Morgan Freeman and Aaron Eckhart, this €œlet€™s get the world leaders when they€™re all in one place and bargain for the president€™s life€ action terror thriller has enough boom-booms to make Michael Bay beam but, sadly, lacks even a semblance of original plot, let alone enough of one to throw in any twists and turns. As a flavour of what those unfortunate enough to experience this cliche-a-thon, replete with non-European webcam threats and a lone special forces bloke out in the field dodging death with surprising proficiency, can expect, observe the gloriously inspiring script-writing for Freeman€™s save-the-day Vice President: €œTo those who threaten our freedom, America will rise up.€ Quite. One can only imagine how this movie would play out if Trump was in charge.
