Knights of Cydonia is a bizarre hybridisation of the western, martial arts and sci-fi genre. Despite this it is very well executed music video and could have been directed by Sergio Leone himself. The story follows the plight of the protagonist (the man with no name), as he endeavours to save his maiden from the hands of the villain. Sure, its a simple concept, but the addition of some futuristic robots and a carefully placed unicorn turn it into a twisted kind of poetry.
