In terms of depictions of The Joker, the graphic novel known only as Joker, features some his most despicable deeds. Pulling plenty from Heath Ledgers Joker, not to mention certain elements of Texas Chainsaw Massacres Leatherface, this version of Batmans most famous nemesis is truly a horrible, horrible piece of work. During the story, Joker takes on a new associate by the name of Jonny Frost. Poor Jonny really didnt know what he was getting himself into. When The Joker finds out that Frost had met with Two-Face at one point, he deems this as cheating, and in an act of revenge he proceeds to rape Jonnys ex-wife, which supposedly makes all things equal in his eyes. Yes, this Joker is a rapist. If that wasnt bad enough, he then forces a bank president to commit a horrible act - whilst not exactly confirmed in the story, theres plenty of fan speculation and evidence that points towards The Joker making the bank boss masturbate over a picture of his own daughter. And finally, this is the story where The Joker skins a poor soul by the name of Monty. Skinned. From head to toe. So yeah, in terms of sick and twisted acts, the version of Mr J depicted in Joker is arguably the darkest one that you'll ever see.
