10 Little Known X-Men Who Could Make Marvel Millions
10. Bishop
Okay, admittedly this is a bit of a cheat as he's already appeared in 'Days Of Future Past', but that was nothing more than a cameo.
Even though Omar Sy did a pretty decent job with his limited screen time, it seemed that his role was simply to turn up and then die, which is a shame as Bishop has an origin story that is tailor-made for any new X-Men franchise that Disney/Marvel are intending to set up.
As revealed in the comics (as well as the fantastic nineties animated series), Bishop was looked after by a man simply known as the Witness, a mutant that had been there when the X-Men were betrayed. Escaping this post-apocalyptic nightmare and traveling back in time, he meets up with a much more alive version of his heroes but, due to a case of explosive amnesia, when he lays eyes on Gambit he is convinced that he is the traitor that will lead them to their destruction.
This story would be a perfect jumping off point for the re-booted X-Men and by focusing on Bishop's quest to uncover the truth, Disney/Marvel could lay the foundations for a multi-movie spanning arc.
