10. Tobey Maguire's Spidey Rematch With Willem Dafoe's Goblin - Spider-Man: No Way Home
It's hard to feel in any way let down by a Spidey feature that still boasted everything from three different live-action Web-slingers cracking wise, to a great many of the Wall-crawlers' most captivating enemies taking on the trio of Spider-Men.
However, No Way Home did also come rather close to unleashing yet another crowd-pleasing occurrence that unfortunately wasn't able to make the finished cut.
As revealed in the "Three Big Bad" featurette for the MCU flick, there was clearly a moment there when Jon Watts had planned for Willem Dafoe's Goblin to battle it out with Tobey Maguire's Peter-2 on top of the former's glider.
For whatever reason, though, Watts and co. thought it best to leave this particular epic rematch out of the spectacular closing stretch of the feature.
Again, Maguire's Parker is at least given a few satisfying moments with Doc Ock and Sandman during that climax. But not getting to witness his Spidey take on Norman Osborn one last time still likely left some feeling ever so slightly disappointed heading out of the multiversal madness.
Though, witnessing Tom Holland's Spidey go toe-to-toe with the green menace on a few brutal occasions wasn't the worst alternative in the world.
