Britanny Allen (The Boys) plays Molly, a woman who's trying to leave her tarnished past in a zombie-infested Los Vegas behind. With a remote airfield potentially providing a means of escape, she sets off on a life-changing journey through the desert on foot whilst being relentlessly pursued by a lone zombie.

Thanks to its unique premise, and small cast, It Stains the Sands Red makes for a much-needed and refreshing change of pace for the zombie subgenre. Rather than a group of survivors fending for themselves against an unforgiving horde of meat-hungry monsters, it offers a slow burn escapade that's tonally diverse. Though it may not excel in any one area, it's a well rounded indie that warrants your attention.
