10. Saw X

We have every reason to be cynical about the tenth Saw movie. (Yes, there have been that many.) Because the two soft reboots failed to leave an impact, you can understand why Saw X ranks so low on our list.

But based on the rumblings surrounding this sequel, things sound surprisingly optimistic. If you were annoyed John Kramer didn't show up in the last entry, Spiral, you'll be happy to learning Tobin Bell's career-defining villain will return in the upcoming instalment.

Not only that, Saw X will also bring back Amanda Young - Jigsaw's victim-turned-protege. Because Kramer and Amanda met their end all the way back in Saw III, it'll be curious to see how the murderous duo come back, and what role they'll play in the story.

Die-hard fans will be happy to hear the project is being handled by Kevin Greutert, who was the head editor of many Saw films (as well as director of two), including the original. Because Greutert's masterful editing is what made Saw so tense and terrifying in the first place, it'll be interesting to see what he cooks up for Saw X.
