10 Most Brutal Moments In The MCU

10. Mysterio Causes Spider-Man To Be Hit By A Train - Spider-Man: Far From Home

In real life, one of the worst accidents that can happen is getting hit by a large fast-moving vehicle such as a train. In an instant, every bone and muscle in the body gets broken, and there is a very real chance of death.

In the MCU, however, some superheroes can survive that kind of impact. Still, that didn't make it any less jarring when Spider-Man: Far From Home saw Peter Parker hit by a train. As ol' Web-head vanishes from the frame for a second after the train hits him, audiences did not know how huge the damage was to our hero - and Mysterio himself thought Peter was dead.

What makes it more stressful is that Parker did not see it coming. Mysterio was bombarding his senses with a hologram of nightmarish imagery, and when the rogue turned off said hologram, there was no time for Peter to process what was going on before he was hit be the aforementioned train.

In the aftermath of this attack, Peter enters one of the train carts with just bloodied fingers, cuts on his face, and damaged ribs. It may not look like a realistic consequence of a real train accident, but with Tom Holland’s acting ability, the pain feels just as real.
