Walt Disney not only built one of the biggest marketing empires of all time but he influenced an entire generation of directors and basically invented the modern animated film as we now know it. Without the mind of Disney Pixar and Dreamworks may not even exist and they definitely wouldn't exist in the way we know them today. He gave the world such un-disputed classics as Bambi, Snow White, Cinderella and Alice in Wonderland while his creative stamp is extremely evident on more modern animated masterpieces as well. The Toy Story trilogy, Up and How to Train Your Dragon all feature very prominent influence from Disney's style.
