After being abducted from the town of Brighthope by cave-dwelling cannibals, the town’s deputy sheriff Nick meets a nasty fate. While Nick is still alive, the cannibals strip him naked, scalp him, shove his own scalp into his mouth, ram it to the back of his throat with a knife, and then viciously bisect him.
Yep: they tear him in half.
This is undeniably the type of thing you can never unsee, as well as quite possibly being the most gruesome cinematic death of the 2010s. For that reason alone, you’ll watch this scene mortified yet transfixed.
