6. Thor Is Reunited With Jane - Thor: The Dark World

This is an especially creative - and lucky! - solution to a potentially terrible problem.

During reshoots for Thor: The Dark World, the decision was made to film a post-credits scene in which Thor (Chris Hemsworth) returns to Earth and enjoys a full-on smooch with a delighted Jane Foster (Natalie Portman).

However, Portman wasn't available when the scene was being shot, forcing Marvel to seek out models to serve as stand-ins, with Hemsworth getting the final say on who he'd share a screen smooch with.

In the end, however, Hemsworth suggested his own wife, Elsa Pataky, who coincidentally bears a pretty decent physical resemblance to Portman already.

And so, Pataky donned Jane's clothes and an appropriate wig to get the desired likeness, and a major problem was quickly solved, while also explaining why that kiss looked so damn convincing.

As Portman said herself, "That's why it was so passionate."
