It's A Sequel To... The Raid: Redemption (2011) Here's an upcoming sequel that it's kind of hard to hate on, given that the original flick was something of a martial arts masterpiece. Directed by Welshman Gareth Evans, The Raid: Redemption was literally a balls to the walls blast, a movie that had no qualms about being attached to a plot best summed up as "man goes into building, fights his way to the top floor and, like, kills everybody in the process." The sequel, subtitled Retaliation, is rumoured to take place approximately two hours after the events of the first movie, which probably means that somebody is coming after our hero with a grudge. Good things to consider? That Gareth Evans is back in the director's seat, and they're making this one with a "significantly larger budget." Despite the fact that most movies sequels fail to deliver the magic of their predecessors, Retaliation is probably gonna be awesome. Do We Want It? Hell, yes.
