The Death: After arriving on Asgard, Hela (Cate Blanchett) promptly slaughters its army, including the famed Warriors Three, Thor's pals Hogun (Tadanobu Asano), Volstagg (Ray Stevenson), and Fandral (Zachary Levi).

Who Should've Died Instead: Ideally, Hela would've just stuck to killing the disposable Asgardian forces instead and imprisoned the Warriors Three somewhere, or better yet, just have them conveniently be off-world with Sif (Jaimie Alexander), wherever the hell she was during all this.

Their deaths in Ragnarok made them seem like total also-ran characters despite being charming fixtures of the previous films in the series. If it was absolutely necessary for some of them to die at Hela's hand, couldn't at least one of them - preferably Volstagg - have survived by the skin of his teeth?
