10 Movies That You Need To See More Than Once

By Dolan Reynolds /

1. 2001: A Space Odyssey

Stanley Kubrick purposefully made 2001 to be an incredibly ambiguous film that can be perceived many different ways. This is precisely why it needs to be seen over and over again. There are so many things that don't seem to make any sense, especially the third act, but can be deciphered over multiple watches. 100 people could watch 2001 and come up with 100 different interpretations for what they think any of the story actually means. The plot is so ambiguous that it can be a different film every time you watch it which only serves to heighten the enjoyment that it provides. Kubrick himself never came out and gave a definite meaning for 2001 so it not only will live on as long as cinema itself but it will always be new and exciting with each watch. Thanks so much for reading and I'd love to hear any films you think should have made the list.
