10 Movies You Should Refuse To Watch On Moral Grounds

10. Jeepers Creepers

Right now, you're probably wondering what this relatively average but somewhat watchable teen horror movie could have done wrong to have landed a place on a list of movies to avoid for moral reasons - aside from the terrible acting, of course. In the case of Jeepers Creepers, though, it's not really the content of the movie that's the problem; it's all to do with the writer/director, one Victor Salva. Why, you ask? Well, to put it bluntly... he's a convicted sex offender. That's right: early in his career, Salva served 15 months in jail after "pleading guilty to one count of lewd and lascivious conduct, one count of oral sex with a person under 14, and three counts of procuring child pornography." And yet this man has somehow managed to carve out a place in Hollywood as a fully-fledged movie director? Jeepers Creepers isn't Salva's only film, of course, and any one of them could have made this list; it just so happens to be his most famous. Do people really want to support the career of somebody with a history like this? It's just not right.
