5. Rebels Is One Of The Best Star Wars Shows Ever

We could put in individual examples from Rebels into this list as entries, but we just said screw it and put the entire show in one entry to just cover it all in one place.

it is nothing short of absurd that this is the only Star Wars television show actually set during the original trilogy, seeing as how that trilogy had been around for almost 40 years by the time Rebels began. The closest thing we got was a short lived animated show centering around C-3PO and R2-D2 called Star Wars: Droids.

But at least when LucasArts finally made a show set during the rise of the galactic empire, they made sure to put their best possible foot forward with Rebels. Sure, it does take a bit to really get going, but when it does (i.e. when Darth Vader shows up) it becomes one of the absolute best pieces of Star Wars extended universe fiction ever. Certainly better than the more recent Star Wars: Resistance.

But neither of them compare to the best Star Wars show.
