There is nothing that Hollywood stars like to do more than give money to charity and get credit for giving money to charity. One of the staples of a "true" Hollywood player, then, must be that they invest their personal time (and the resources afforded to them by way of their "incredible luck") to those less-fortunate. And basically that involves giving poor people money, and usually lots of it. Our buddy Nicolas Cage, despite tax problems, has not found him exempt from this group. Didn't I tell you this guy was the perfect Hollywood star? In fact, in 2006, Cage donated a seriously impressive $2 million to Amnesty. When Katrina struck havoc on New Orleans, Cage donated $1 million to relief funds. And though those are just two of several generous donations that the man has made, he's always spending time working with charities, raising both money and awareness. In the last decade alone, he's worked with animal welfare, conservation, homeless, environmental and cancer charities.
