This is a series that embodies the concept of diminishing returns, though this film still returned $140 million from a budget of only $5 million. To be fair it looks like it cost about $25 to produce this awful mess which sits firmly on the other side of the suspense fence. Following its predecessors by having no actual story or script or entertainment value !BANG! You jumped right? That means its scary. This film is a diabolical cash cow which somehow keeps bringing people back to the cinema and with a Paranormal Activity 5 in production for later this year, we can only hope for more of exactly the same shaky-cam action mixed with long static shots of rooms in a house.
