1. Dream Warriors Doesn't Care If Jesse Survived Freddy's Revenge
The original A Nightmare On Elm Street ends with one of the most confusing twists ever (was the whole thing a nightmare or what?) and the sequel, Freddys Revenge, ends with a similar last minute jump scare. The movies hero Jesse has overcome Freddy, won the heart of the girl he loves and is on the school bus with friends when Freddys claw suddenly bursts out of someones chest. Freddys Revenge proved to be the odd man out of the series, featuring a male hero and not really following the formula of the other sequels. Some people like it because it's so bizarre, but most feel its a complete mess and the rest of the franchise ignores it. The next movie Dream Warriors - makes no reference to Jesse or Freddys ability to jump into the real world, and for a series that was quite good at wrapping up loose ends this feels like a notable snub.
