It's been known for some time that Fast 8 would be shooting in Iceland, though the nature of that shoot has been kept largely under wraps...until an unfortunate on-set accident gave us a little more insight. This past week a horse was injured by a plastic iceberg prop which was blown into the air by gale force winds, causing vets to put the poor animal down. We can conclude from this that the movie will feature a car chase involving the crew hopping across icebergs, which sounds very much in step with the gleefully silly tone the Fast and Furious franchise has carved out for itself over the last few installments.
