2. Wonder Woman's Appearance In Dawn Of Justice

The second installment in the DCEU pitted Batman against Superman for the first time in live action cinema, and somehow, DC managed to mess it up. Certainly, coming after a stand alone Batman movie would have helped, but the problems with the movie went far deeper than establishing a new dark knight.

The casting of Lex Luthor was absolutely laughable, the plot made little to no sense, and the Martha scene happened. All can take their share of the blame for the movie missing the mark, but there was one ray of light from the dark and desolate movie.

Diana Prince had featured sparingly throughout the movie, but it was just as Doomsday was about to destroy Bruce Wayne that Wonder Woman made her first appearance. Easily the best aspect of the movie, and the entire DCEU so far, Diana's alter ego couldn't save this movie from being bad, but it did make us forget for a few minutes just how bad it was.

Taking the lead, almost making Batman and Superman seem incompetent by comparison, Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman instantly became a fan favourite and one of the most bad ass comic book characters to appear on the big screen in a long time.
