Though The Snowman is unquestionably the worst major movie to miss out on Razzie recognition, there is one limited-release movie that was even more deserving of nominations, and that's 9/11.

In case you somehow haven't heard of it, 9/11 is a low-budget drama set almost entirely inside one of the Twin Towers' elevators during the September 11th attacks, as a group of strangers try to band together and find a way to escape.

Even if you can ignore the problematic casting of Charlie Sheen in the lead role considering his past as a 9/11 truther, this cringe-worthy drama tries to be earnest, suspenseful and affecting, but is ultimately more confused and clumsy than anything.

The film walks a fine line between its probably-honest intentions and how exploitative it ends up feeling. In better hands this probably could've worked, but with Sheen leading the charge, it's hard not to either raise your eyebrows or just gut laugh your way through it.

What It Should've Been Nominated For: Worst Picture, Worst Director (Martin Guigui), Worst Actor (Charlie Sheen), Worst Screen Combo (Charlie Sheen and Gina Gershon) and Worst Screenplay.
