12. The Worst Line Of The Whole Series

"You know what happens when a toad gets struck by lightning? Same thing that happens to everything else."

This awful line genuinely made it into the final cut of X-Men, and fans are still scratching their heads as to why. It's not witty, it's not clever, it's not funny, and it adds precisely nothing to the movie.

Throughout the history of the comics, Storm is a consistent badass. Her awesome powers are not only incredible aesthetically, they solidify her as one of the strongest, most integral X-Men, even going to lead the team for a time.

So why include this cheesy line that makes her look plain stupid? Maybe if this terrible dad joke gone wrong had been left on the cutting room floor, or never existed at all, the movies could have gone a lot further toward making the character as great as she is in the comics.
