2. The Finale Is Hilariously Overblown

The final set-piece in this movie is, in a word, hysterical. As Bond infiltrates SPECTRE's volcano lair, he's accompanied by Tanaka's ninja army, who repel into the lair and start going ham on the enemy forces within.

A relentless barrage of murder follows, with Bond even feeding a goon to Blofeld's piranhas, and of course, it all concludes with the lair exploding, but not before Bond and Blofeld both make their hurried escape.

It's a riotously insane sequence that borders close to self-parody, but is legitimately entertaining even without the benefit of irony. If only more of the movie's mayhem felt this inspired, creative and flat-out fun.
