4. Batman V Superman Will Be Split In Two With Part 1 Released This Year
The Theory: Next year's hugely anticipated Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will, in fact, be split in two, with the first part, Enter the Knight, released this October, and Part II: Dawn of Justice, hitting cinemas as per the originally planned March date next year. Why It Could Be True: Well, this is certainly going to be a huge movie with plenty of moving parts, and it's safe to say that it could easily have a wide enough breadth to cover 4-5 hours of material if it's done right. To introduce so many new Justice League characters in 120-150 minutes while running a cohesive story and getting audiences accustomed to so many recast characters is going to be a huge challenge, and while most movie splits seem like blatant cash-grabs, this is a rare one that totally makes sense. Batman and Supes can have their first fight as the conclusion to Part I, and then their eventual team-up happens in Part II. Why It's Probably Not: It's already been debunked by Superman himself, Henry Cavill, so unless Zack Snyder has really been keeping his leading man out of the loop, then this one's sadly all sewn up.
