13 Trailers For This Summer's Most Anticipated Films

11. Monsters University

People love the Monsters Inc. franchise. It is up there with the Toy Storys and Finding Nemos as Pixar's most lucrative franchises so it perhaps isn't surprising to see them expand on the series again. With their first prequel ever, Monsters University is going to focus on Mike and Sully during their college years. Billy Crystal and John Goodman are back as their now iconic characters. Casting Sully as a popular scarer and Mike as a nerdy outcast, the film will focus how the two overcome their differences to become the friends we saw in the first film. While it is going to be the animated event of the summer, anticipation is perhaps going to be a little dulled. Pixar's last two films, Cars 2 and Brave, both had lukewarm receptions when compared to the home runs Pixar used to hit out the park. However, I have little doubt that Monsters University will do very well at the box office regardless.
