To the film's very, very slight credit, it doesn't indulge much in the love triangle between Reed, Sue and Victor which was heavily, annoyingly apparently in the previous two F4 movies. Only in rare situations do audiences invest heavily into a superhero romance (Peter Parker and MJ or Gwen, for one), and most of the time it just needs to be window dressing during downtime between action (Tony Stark and Pepper, for instance). Though romance doesn't figure much in the film, Trank doesn't totally let go of it, either, with a couple of scenes hinting at the tension between Victor and Reed, but not being developed enough to actually interest audiences in it whatsoever. It's clear as day that reshoots and editing clearly shredded the love story to pieces, so why even bother shoving it into the movie at all? Audiences are generally just fine without a movie featuring a romance, but sadly, studio executives seem unable to process this fact. Just cut it all out.
